During the summer of 2008, Pacific Marketplace, a popular local market in San Diego, was in the midst of an upward trend in sales and traffic. However, disaster struck when the store experienced a grand larceny. A large amount of money left the store as a result of the crime, and an immediate cash infusion was needed in order to support the ongoing increase in sales.
